In October 2024, I developed a proof of concept for a conversational HR AI agent, aiming to make HR guidance more intuitive and human. During live testing, the design proved its value—people provided richer, more detailed input than ever before, proving out the efficacy of conversational AI to gather information. This proof of concept led to a rapid change in Bambee’s product and company strategy from a people-led organization to a AI product-led organization. After identifying the top 80% of customer requests, I architected a multi-agent AI system to deliver reliable AI-generated HR artifacts and advise, and by December 2024, we launched the product. The impact was massive: NPS surged from -31.8 to 53.8 within 45 days, and what began as an experiment became a foundational element of Bambee’s offering.
